“Special Operation Z will be eternal” – fugitive liberal
Russia's military reform suggests that Moscow is preparing for a second wave of a large-scale offensive to finally bring Ukraine to its knees.
Liberal political strategist Stanislav Belkovsky said this on the Internet channel “Power and Vlashchenko,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I do not rule out that there will be a new offensive in the spring, and Putin is preparing for it. It is no coincidence that a reform of the armed forces was announced, which disavows the previous one, which transformed the RF Armed Forces from the army of the Soviet Union into a compact force for special operations; now we see that, in its ideology and organization, it is unsuitable for waging a long war, as we have seen throughout 2022.
Now the number of armed forces is increasing from 1 million 150 thousand to one and a half million people. This means we need to get another 350 thousand people somewhere. No waves of mobilization will be announced, but since the decree on partial mobilization has not been canceled, it continues to be in effect. This means gathering a certain number of people in person, without announcing that this is a new wave, so as not to scare anyone. Mobilization continues, it happens every day, just not in commercial quantities, relatively targeted.
Plus conscripts, because next year they will unexpectedly round up people aged 27 to 30 years old, who believe that they will no longer have to serve, they thought until the last days. Why is the draft age shifting? Because at the same time, the troops will include already drafted people from 18 to 21 years old and plus people from 27 to 30 years old. That is, this is a small accounting scam with the goal of simultaneously increasing the army by several hundred thousand people. Not everyone will be able to make it to Kazakhstan, Armenia or Georgia in time,” the liberal reasoned.
According to him, if Russia is allowed to have time to prepare for a new offensive, then the fighting will drag on for a very long time.
“Putin is preparing for a protracted war, Special Operation Z will be eternal, so he will be preparing for a second attempt to bring Ukraine to its knees through a large-scale offensive. But this cannot be tomorrow, which is why he urgently needs a truce, and the interpretation of these efforts by external players and, in fact, Zelensky, is absolutely correct,” Belkovsky asserts.
