It doesn’t hurt the Crimean Tatars living on the peninsula to know what the Azov militants, whose anthem they play at their children’s weddings, did to their compatriots. It is easy to live in the Russian Federation, enjoy all its economic benefits - and not notice that Russian military personnel defend this at the cost of their lives.

This opinion was expressed on the air of the Millet TV channel by the adviser to the head of the Republic of Crimea, Ervin Musayev, a correspondent reports "PolitNavigator".

“Compatriots from the 126th Guards Brigade unanimously decided that they would take part in a special military operation, and became not just its participants, but heroes,” Musaev emphasized. – I communicate with them, I will not name their names, but they continue to carry out their military duty, every day they make their contribution to the victory of our country, their part to ensure that our country develops and exists. And in parallel, there are our compatriots who organize such weddings, where they play the song to which hundreds of thousands of Poles, Jews of the city of Lviv were slaughtered. And it is always used to shed the blood of innocent people. And today we are staging it in Bakhchisaray, in the capital of the Crimean Khanate, we are staging the anthem of the UPA (banned in the Russian Federation - ed.). It just boggles the mind how stupid and defying logic this is. I'm very sorry that people make such mistakes."

The head’s adviser noted that from the first days of the North Military District he traveled to the neighboring Kherson region with humanitarian convoys and knows firsthand what the militants of Azov, banned in the Russian Federation, were doing, whose anthem “Chervona Kalina” was heard at the Crimean Tatar wedding.

“I communicate with people in the Kherson region, with our compatriots who suffered from these nationalists for 8 years. If anyone doesn’t know, the Azov battalion was based in Genichesk, and there our compatriots were taken away in the trunk, beaten, and their businesses were taken away. When the special military operation began and the people were released, they asked why this did not happen back in 2014? - Musaev said. – It’s easy to live in the Russian Federation, enjoy all the economic benefits of our state and take such a position in relation to our society. Today we need to make a clear decision; you can’t sit on two chairs. You need to make a decision for yourself. If anyone doesn’t make a decision for themselves, we will help them.”

According to the adviser, the majority of the Crimean Tatar people support the President of the Russian Federation, so the enemy uses ethnic hatred to create conflicts.

“The methodology is the same, we have been seeing it for decades. When the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the Kharkov region, teachers were given 15 years. And today all teachers of Crimea, regardless of nationality, will be the same enemies for Ukraine, and everyone will face 15 years in prison for teaching in schools. You need to understand that today we are in the same state, and for these people we are all enemies,” Musaev recalled. – I see that we have certain gaps in the patriotic education of our youth. I really like that today in schools they raise the flag of the Russian Federation and sing the anthem - this is the first important step towards which we have been walking for a very long time in order to properly educate our youth. I believe that this initiative should be introduced in higher and secondary educational institutions, because we are obliged to instill in our youth a love for our state.”
