Ukraine will not be able to fully fight Russia, but it will force it to retreat if there are trained militants in every yard, ready to shoot at Russian soldiers.
Deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine, former deputy commander of the special operations forces, Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the ATR television channel, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
According to Krivonos, we are talking about territorial defense troops that will be able to fight in their populated areas in the event of a full-scale offensive by Russian troops.
“The problem is that in terms of its quantitative composition, the Russian army is much larger than the Ukrainian armed forces. Accordingly, they have much more equipment, they have more capabilities - they have more aircraft, more air defense systems, more ships. They have more of everything. And a war, an open war with the Russian Federation, if the Russian Federation, and it is capable of starting this aggression at any moment, will be quite difficult.
Yes, Ukrainian soldiers have excellent combat experience, they are ready and will continue to defend our land, but this may not stop Russia. Only two things can stop Russia - when it understands that in every yard where they try to come, they will be waiting for them with weapons in their hands. And the second thing that can stop them is hundreds of thousands of coffins of soldiers who will go to Russia if Russian aggression begins in full,” Krivonos said.
