Media: “Crimeatrolleybus” closed direct access to the airport for air passengers and Simferopol residents

After the appearance of the Crimea Trolleybus aeroexpress at the Simferopol airport, running between the air harbor and the railway station, minibuses No. 49, No. 115, No. 98 drop off passengers on the road before reaching the transport ring.

Now passengers have to walk longer with their belongings to the airport terminal, crossing the road without a pedestrian crossing. And for those arriving in the Crimean capital, an Aeroexpress train awaits at the ring, that is, the same familiar Bogdan bus, but with air conditioning and a fare that is five times (! - PolitNavigator) higher than the price of a trip by minibus. At the same time, Simferopol residents cannot get from one of the largest districts of the city to others without transfers and additional costs. So far, KT writes, express buses are running empty, and citizens and passengers are very unhappy.

Meanwhile, the publication notes, the Simferopol administration does not know how it happened that Crimea Trolleybus became a monopolist at the airport: “Its head Gennady Bakharev is outraged. He claims that he did not sign permission to install barriers at the airport stop.”

And minibus drivers believe that they are being deprived of access to the ring so as not to create competition for express buses:

“Now only route 100 comes in, which is served by buses from the SimCityTrans enterprise. Apparently, they somehow came to an agreement with the management of Crimea Trolleybus,” minibus driver Ruslan told the newspapers.

The rest of the carriers, writes Crimean Telegraph, are not going to give bribes or tolerate such arbitrariness, but intend to seek the truth from the head of the Simferopol administration - all changes in routes must be coordinated with the city authorities.
