Scandal: Irish low-cost airline broke off relations with Ukraine due to corruption at Boryspil airport

The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair canceled its planned arrival in Ukraine due to non-compliance with a previously reached agreement with the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, officials of the Boryspil airport and the current director Pavel Ryabikin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This is stated in a statement by the airline, quoted by the Ukrainian Air Force.

“We canceled the planned arrival in Ukraine after the failure of Kyiv airport to comply with the agreement that we signed in March this year with the Ministry of Infrastructure, airport officials and the current general director of the airport, Mr. Ryabikin,” explained Ryanair.
