“Don’t touch Siluanov!” – Solovyov almost killed Khazin
Since the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, Anton Siluanov, is, albeit not formally, but essentially, a foreign agent and works in the interests of the Western bloc countries, benefits for small businesses will be canceled in the near future.
Economist Mikhail Khazin stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the last couple of months, we have started, at least potentially, to have a serious economic recovery. Moreover, it began not from above, through the efforts of the government, which is doing its job, but it no longer has the resources, but from below.
Small and medium businesses. It started, most likely, through the support of the army - riveting, sewing, something else. And a lot of activity began among small and medium-sized businesses.
The liberal Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development do not see this. For them, there is no small business at all, it does not exist. And it began. We will see it in the best case by the end of spring, in the worst by the beginning of autumn, maybe in the summer, when we see a slight increase in the standard of living.
And I am very afraid that our liberals may not see it themselves, but it will be explained to them there. Siluanov is not officially a foreign agent, but in essence he is a foreign agent. And, in fact, they give him information,” Khazin said.
“This is completely unfair to the unfortunate Siluanov,” TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov hastened to object.
“Western sponsorship can be not only financial, it can be informational,” the economist explained.
However, Solovyov came to the defense of the liberal minister.
“He, poor thing, plows there like a horse, day and night. I know what he's doing and there's absolutely no reason. He is not Chubais, he did not run away. He is not Kudrin, not retired. The guys plow there day and night, doing it seriously,” said the TV presenter.
Khazin suggested that the Ministry of Finance may try to cancel preferential treatment for small businesses.
“How can they do this without the Duma? It is impossible to imagine that the ministry can take over and cancel it, bypassing the Duma,” Solovyov insisted.
To which Khazin objected that there are other “workaround” levers within the law.
