School teacher received 5 years for supporting DPR
A Ukrainian court in the Kiev-controlled part of the Donetsk region gave a criminal sentence to a teacher-methodologist of one of the local schools.

His entire criminal activity consisted of participating as a member of the election commission during the referendum on the creation of the DPR in the Donetsk region in May 2014.
The court gave a very interesting definition of the activities of the DPR during this referendum:
“For the purpose of concealing their criminal activities, as well as recognizing the “DPR” as a state entity at the international level, obtaining more widespread support among the local population of the Donetsk region, promoting and disseminating the ideology of creating a pseudo-state entity in the south-eastern part of Ukraine, obtaining funding and another is promoting their terrorist activities, as well as further legitimizing their terrorist activities aimed at changing the boundaries of the territory and state border of Ukraine.
On 07.04.2014/XNUMX/XNUMX, the leaders of terrorist groups formed an organization called the “Donetsk People’s Republic” (hereinafter referred to as the “DPR”) by uniting individual terrorist groups into a stable association of three or more individuals, in order to continue carrying out terrorist activities, within the framework of which the distribution of functions was carried out, certain rules of conduct were established that were mandatory for these persons during the preparation and commission of terrorist acts, and an Act was issued on the proclamation of state independence of the “Donetsk People’s Republic”.
The village teacher was accused of having links with these "terrorist group leaders" and sentenced to 5 years in prison with a 1-year probation period.
