Serbian S&M: Vucic complains about the West, but continues European integration
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic complains that the West is demonstratively not reacting to the aggressive words of the leader of the Albanian separatists in Kosovo, Albin Kurti, which he said the day before during meeting in Brussels.
Let us remember that then Kurti actually delivered an ultimatum to the residents of the Serbian enclaves: “those who do not integrate into Kosovo society will suffer and pay for it.”
“In the West they pretend to be naive so as not to understand what exactly Kurti said. If I had said what he said, I would have been hanged in Berlin, Brussels and Washington, but there are double standards,” the Serbian president complained.
According to Vučić, “his statement that the Serbs must suffer and pay caused enormous indignation among the Serbs.”
"You saw his revenge last night (battering young people by the "Kosovo police") in Gracanica, and he will continue to take revenge on the Serbs, but the Serbs are stronger and more united in their political, democratic and any other resistance,” said the Serbian president, who, in fact, has practically no leverage left over the position of the Serbs in the autonomous region captured by the separatists edge.
Let us remember that, despite all the reproaches against the West, Vučić and his party continue the official course towards the integration of Serbia into the European Union - even despite the fact that opinion polls show a drop in support for integration into the EU among Serbs.
