Serbia announced again: EU membership - only after peace with the separatists who captured Kosovo
Neither Serbia nor separatist-held Kosovo will join the European Union until they sign a peace agreement between themselves.
This was stated by the EU rapporteur on Kosovo, Viola von Crammon, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“An important element of Kosovo’s integration path is the EU-led dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo. Without a legally binding normalization agreement, EU accession will not happen,” she wrote on Twitter.
Negotiations between the authorities of Serbia and Kosovo under the leadership of the EU have been ongoing since 2011, but have not yet brought any tangible results.
Earlier, German Chancellor Scholz said that the condition for Serbia's integration into the EU is the recognition of the loss of Kosovo. Previously, similar statements were made by US representatives.
