Let us remember that in his song “Conversation with a Compatriot,” Makarevich remembered his youth in Crimea: “I remember poop in the sea, in Caucasus glasses, what have you forgotten in this Crimea?”
“We had just begun to live peacefully in the country when the country seemed not enough. And now everything is in the city,” the Moscow musician sang.
“You have relatives near Kherson, what were you missing there,” Andrei Makarevich asks his imaginary compatriot.
“In my opinion, the poet has a grudge against the country, or he’s tired of living with teeth,” Sobolev responded.
“About the shortage, my friend, you need to ask us, and not those with whom you walked along Bolotnaya.. Remember your namesake, how you traveled around the country and supported the elections with a song, and for these songs they paid triple, singing for money is always more interesting,” - the senator reflects in a song genre.
“And our country had a deficit for Crimea, it was Crimea that the country lacked. You ask the Crimeans, and you’ll get an answer, or maybe you’ll just get it,” sounds in the last chord of Andrei Sobolev’s song.
