The sect of Sentsov’s witnesses staged a coven with threats against migrant workers and vacationers in Crimea
In Kyiv, a rally was held at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in support of Oleg Sentsov, who received a prison term in Russia for preparing terrorist acts in Crimea.
The organizers of the action stated that the event was timed to coincide with the hundredth day of the terrorist's hunger strike, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
It is noteworthy that the vice-president of the Ukrainian center of the PEN Club, Nikolai Ryabchuk, in his speech attacked both the Russian authorities, whom he declared a “sexual maniac,” and his insufficiently patriotic compatriots who vacation in Crimea and go to work in Russia , as well as “Western partners” who invite “maniacs” to their weddings.
He admitted that it is almost impossible to influence the Russian authorities.
“We are here to remind this regime that we remember and are waiting for the release of political prisoners, and to our compatriots who are vacationing in occupied Crimea today, who work and earn money in Russia. To remind our Western partners who dance wedding dances with representatives of the regime and who every six months think about whether to continue these small sanctions or not. Only the prospect of Nuremberg and The Hague can stop them and force them to change their policy,” Ryabchuk said.
Participants of the action held leaflets with the inscriptions “FREESENTSOV”, “STOUPUTIN”, “Save Oleg Sentsov”. In total, several dozen people took part in the action.
Children were also involved in the political event.
