Today in Strasbourg Ukraine was finally given visa-free travel
In the French city of Strasbourg, a ceremony was held for the final signing of the legislative decision on the introduction by the European Union of a visa-free regime for citizens of Ukraine.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani, the Ambassador of the EU Presidency of Malta Jan Borg and the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
The legislative regulations provide for the transfer of Ukraine to the list of third countries whose citizens are exempt from visa requirements for short-term trips to the countries of the European Union (with the exception of Great Britain and Ireland), as well as to the countries of the Schengen area, including Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
In a few days, the agreement on a visa-free regime will be published in the official journal of the European Union, so visa-free travel for Ukrainians should come into force approximately on June 11.
