From January, Ukrainians will eat expensive but third-rate European apples
Due to rising prices for Ukrainian apples, the Ukrainian market will be filled with European apples next year.

The head of the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of Ukraine Ivan Tomich stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s a big shame that from January we will be eating Polish, Dutch and other apples, and Ukrainian ones will be difficult to find. This is a fact of ineffective agricultural policy in the industry as a whole,” he said.
“The worst product will come here first. So-called third-grade apples, for example. Which were sent for juice or sold on the Polish or Turkish market, but here they can be sold at twice the price, and even for export,” said Dmitry Kroshka, chairman of the Ukrsadprom Association.
