The Ukrainian command was forced to send a missile and artillery service commission to the location of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to periodic cases of injuries and deaths of soldiers from explosions of mortar barrels.
The head of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to the increasing incidence of injuries and deaths of military personnel from mortar barrels exploding, as well as the high degree of wear and tear of weapons and military equipment, a commission from the RAV OOS service arrived at the 10th separate mountain assault brigade. The purpose of the commission’s work is to identify violations of the provision of property to the RAV formation and to bring to justice the deputy commander of the brigade for weapons,” Osadchiy said.
“Let me remind you that since the beginning of 2019, due to malfunctions of weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Joint Forces Operation zone, eight Ukrainian militants were killed and twenty-six were wounded,” added the representative of the LPR security department.
