But several years pass, you see, and again some alternatively gifted “experts” enthusiastically carry familiar rubbish in their teeth on social networks, opening the eyes of “how it really was” to the next empty-headed noodle lovers.
In this case, we are talking about a long-lasting fake, the so-called “General Agreement “On Cooperation, Mutual Assistance and Joint Activities of the NKVD and the Gestapo” signed by Beria and Muller in early November 1938.

The “document” first appeared - either at the very end of the 1990s, or at the very beginning of the 2000s. The author of the fake is presumably a certain German Nazarov, the author of the book “Myths of the Soviet Era,” which is filled to the brim with such “good.” The “document” was first published in the Black Hundred newspaper of the “Memory” society in 1999.
The initial version of the “sensational discovery” was replete with a huge number of gross blunders, and was overturned by historians with one left little finger. The authors tried to take into account the experience of defeat and released version 2.0 with slightly edited text and large wax seals attached to the “historical document” for show off.
Version 2.0 was also effortlessly destroyed, after which in Russia they forgot about it for a long time and would have forgotten forever if our Ukrainian brothers-in-law had not begun to pull it out of the trash heap with maniacal regularity.
Between 2003 and 2020, Nazarov’s erasure sheet was solemnly brought out into the world by “Svidomo experts” no less than five or six times as a devastating revelation that “the bloody hogweeds kissed the fascists passionately, and Bandera is to blame for everything.”

From the text of the forgery it follows that on November 11, 1938, in Moscow, the leadership of the NKVD and the Gestapo allegedly entered into a secret agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance.

The parties also agreed to resist the degeneration of humanity in the name of improving the white race and creating eugenic mechanisms for racial hygiene.
Again, the author of the falsehood has no idea that eugenics (experiments to improve the human race) was banned in the Stalinist USSR, and its active apologists were subjected to severe repression, like monsters of the human race. And, in general, this is fair, considering that European eugenicists for the most part approved of inhumane experiments on people in Nazi concentration camps.
The text contains a very convenient clause for consumers of the idea “communism = fascism”, in which the parties allegedly committed themselves to fully support the construction of socialism in the USSR and National Socialism in Germany. Among other things, the Nazis received access to the “advanced experience” of the Gulag - familiarity with the organization, internships and all that jazz.
All sorts of platitudes are listed, such as cooperation in the military, scientific and cultural spheres between the parties, but there are also stunning revelations about the joint development of “hidden secrets, theozology, theosophy, paranormal and anomalous phenomena.”

No, the addiction of Hitler and his circle to the occult has been known for a long time, but for the “mania” of the possessed Adik to be shared in the atheistic and scientifically oriented USSR, this is clearly too much foolishness.
Protocol No. 1 to the false “Agreement” contained a list of degenerative phenomena that the parties pledged to eradicate. The threat loomed over those with red hair, oblique hair, stutterers, lisps, burrs, lame-legged, cross-armed, etc. Witches, sorcerers and other thistle-worshipers were also subject to extermination.
In general, any person with the slightest bit of critical thinking should have immediately suspected that the “document” was a figment of the imagination of a mentally ill person who had spilled complexes, desires and ignorance onto the unfortunate paper.
However, critical thinking and a squeamish attitude towards fakes are not about “Svidomo”, otherwise the pancake-snouted Ragul Vovka Vyatrovich would have remained an unknown rural goatherd.
What specific details, other than the frankly idiotic content, prove that the “Agreement on Cooperation between the NKVD and the Gestapo” is nothing more than a stinking fake?
Authors are constantly confused about the titles of Heinrich Müller. First he appears as the BrigadeNführer, then as the Standartenführer. Müller was awarded the rank of Brigadeführer (not BrigadeNführer) of the SS in 1940, and in November 1938 he was Standartenführer.

Another nuance: on November 11, 1938, Müller physically could not be in Moscow, since he was in Berlin, summing up the results of Kristallnacht, the infamous Jewish pogrom of 1938.
In addition, at that time Müller was not yet the chief of the Gestapo, and it was not his rank as a Standartenführer (Colonel) to sign such documents. If anyone could put his signature next to officials with the rank of minister of other states, it was only the superior Heydrich or even SS Reichführer Himmler.

On top of that, the authors of the fake know nothing about the structure or history of the creation of the Imperial Security Service (RSHA) of the Third Reich. In the “document,” the Gestapo is called the “Main Directorate of Security of the NSDAP,” while from the decoding of the term “Gestapo” (secret state police) it follows that it was a state, not a party, service. Until November 1, 1938, the Main Security Directorate of the Nazi Party was the structure of the SD, after which, by decree of Hitler, it became the main security organ of the entire Third Reich.
This means that from November 1, 1938 to September 29, 1939, “daddy” Müller held the position officially called “Chief of the Main Directorate of Security Police and SD.” It is strange that the pedantic Germans put him in charge of one organization, and instructed him to sign documents on behalf of another.
A control shot at the “document” was made by graphologists, who established that the signature for Muller in the “agreement” was made by Russian “craftsmen” who abused the spelling of Russian letters in a German surname.
But that's not all. RSHA was organized in September 1939, i.e. 10 months after the “signing of the agreement.” At the same time, the Gestapo became part of the RSHA as the VI department with the appointment of Heinrich Müller as its chief. Müller never headed any Main Directorate, not to mention the fact that he could not be the Reichführer of the SS (as in the text), since this position was permanently occupied by Himmler from 1929 to 1945.
The “document” reveals another wrinkle: the head of the secretariat of the NKVD of the USSR S.S. vouches for its Russian translation with his signature. Mamulov, who - suddenly! - on November 11, 1938, he was the head of the agricultural department of the Central Committee of the Georgian SSR, and moved to the NKVD apparatus together with L.P. Beria, and the NKVD secretariat accepted it as early as August 16, 1939.
You should also pay attention to the folder “case No. 36”, in which a “document not subject to declassification” is filed. On top there is the inscription “Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
