The “Hand of Moscow” attacked Disney and BabyTV in space – Bloomberg
Bloomberg reports that Russia has allegedly switched on its propaganda on children's television channels in Europe, including Disney, by jamming satellite signals and broadcasting military videos in Russian.
According to Bloomberg, citing documents reviewed by its journalists, European satellite broadcasters noticed attempts by the Russian Federation to interfere with the broadcasts.

“At least three satellites of the French operator Eutelsat SA were seriously damaged since mid-March, and the failures continued for two months. The interference was also recorded on the Disney and BabyTV channels,” the publication states.
Bloomberg claims that BabyTV aired a war video in Russian in the middle of its children's entertainment program. As a result, Dutch cable operator Ziggo removed BabyTV from its offerings.
A spokesman for the International Telecommunication Union, which coordinates global sharing of radio frequencies and satellite orbits, said they would discuss the reports at a June 24-28 meeting.
The publication claims that the Russian radio frequency center did not respond to a request for comment, and the French Agence Nationale des Frequences also declined to comment.
“Eutelsat Group is fully aware of intentional radio frequency interference from external sources that has had an intermittent impact on some services,” a spokesperson for the French company said.
All this fuss is happening against the backdrop of another wave of clearing Russian media from the European media space. On May 17, the EU Council suspended the broadcasting of RIA Novosti, Izvestia, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, as well as the Voice of Europe website, accused of being behind Putin’s godfather Viktor Medvedchuk.
