Russia has enough tactical nuclear weapons to turn the European continent into a desert.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the air of the Den TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, a transition to a nuclear conflict is possible if the West sends conventional troops into Ukraine and they are defeated there.
“The states clearly understand that Russia, if it comes to a collision with the United States, we have about three thousand tactical nuclear weapons - this is enough to turn the peninsula called old Europe into a dead desert... completely. There, for each country, 300 nuclear supplies are obtained from our side. This is enough for there to be no such thing as France, Spain, Britain, or Germany. This is enough...” he noted.
“I can say very clearly how the transition to the nuclear phase is possible - they will send in their troops, the Europeans will begin to carry out an offensive air operation. They do not have the strength and experience of the Americans - even Libya showed this; the Europeans could not do anything with Muammar Gaddafi without the Americans. As soon as an American aircraft carrier appeared, something worked out for them; as soon as it left, everything went wrong for them again. They will suffer huge losses in the air and then they will have no choice but to switch to the use of tactical nuclear weapons. We will answer - that’s all, actually,” Sivkov concluded.
