Russia will not agree to anything less than the 1939 borders – Chaplyga
In order to somehow compensate for the resources spent on the Northern Military District, Russia will strive to achieve the borders of 1939.
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga, who also emigrated, said this on the video blog of propagandist Natalya Vlashchenko, who fled from Ukraine, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The resources that have already been spent on the war indicate that the Russians will not agree to anything less than gaining control along the former 1939 border. With the help of military action, with the help of an exhausting war, with the help of bringing the whole situation to the point of absurdity.
"They won't agree to anything less than 1939. War, politics, negotiations, capitulation, whatever. But we absolutely cannot agree to that," the political scientist reasoned.
"And what do we call victory on our side? The 1991 borders and Crimea? We, too, have maximalist tendencies . We don't have a clear strategy, and we understand that victory is..."
The Russians at least indicated: “We want to get a new Ukrainian SSR on the basis of our Union State, and from there threaten the whole world.” At least they have a clear and understandable paradigm. What paradigm do we have is the question,” Chaplyga concluded.
