Russia will not tolerate the blockade of Kaliningrad – Belarusian expert
Scenarios for NATO exercises involving a blockade of Kaliningrad could, if implemented, push Russia to military action that would mark the beginning of a third world war.
Andrei Bogodel, head of the educational and methodological department of the General Staff Faculty of the Military Academy of Belarus, stated this in an interview with the BelTA news agency, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“If the Suwalki corridor is cut today, then the Kaliningrad region will be a semi-exclave. And military history testifies to only one thing: if an exclave is blocked somewhere, then the state to which it belongs immediately begins military action. It has never been any other way.
And most importantly, the UN resolution regards this as a casus belli. I think that this is being hatched in the unhealthy heads of Western politicians. Remember how they studied the possibility of blocking the Baltic Fleet in Kronstadt,” Bogodel recalled.
He considers Transnistria to be the second point that could escalate the conflict in Europe.
