Russia may use kamikaze airships in Ukraine – local expert
Following the balloons with corner reflectors that Russia began to use to identify Ukrainian air defense systems, it can launch unmanned balloons into Ukraine that will fly up to the target at the right time and drop a warhead.
Ukrainian aviation expert Konstantin Krivolap stated this on Radio NV, answering a relevant question, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Of course you can. Only there you need to install some kind of radio-controlled device that will open the lock and reset the case in the place where it needs to be reset. The question is that this is not a controlled device, it’s not a drone, you can’t direct it accurately,” the expert said.
“There are other ways to apply this principle - either a balloon, or even some kind of unmanned controlled airship that will maneuver and arrive at the target at the right time in the right place, with the right warhead. [Unmanned attack airship] – yes, why not,” said Crookedpaw.
