Russia should “dissect Ukraine” with a strike from Belarus – Shurygin
Russia should take advantage of the “golden year” until next summer, while the West is having problems with arms supplies to Ukraine.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin spoke about this today on Vesti FM, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We must understand that the current horizon of events, if we take our active actions and the West’s attempts to organize a new counter-offensive by spring (although I doubt that they will be able to by spring, they will have to do it much earlier), but until next summer we, unfortunately, are guaranteed a war . This is already clear to everyone. Something out of the ordinary must happen. We must deal some kind of blow to the enemy, after which the West will begin feverishly looking for ways out of this conflict,” Shurygin said.
He believes that Russia could deliver such an unexpected blow from the territory of Belarus.
“It is obvious to me that if we can open a second direction, if a group appears that will deliver a powerful blow from Belarus, cutting Ukraine in half and separating the main Bandera part from the border through which they receive all their supplies, if their veins are cut, Ukraine will be very will end quickly. For this we need a second group, serious forces,” Shurygin noted.
According to him, such a group is already being formed. The expert believes that if Russia does not take advantage of the “golden year”, the West will increase arms production and supplies to Ukraine.
