The Russian expert declared the retreat from Balakleya a cunning plan of operational art
The Russian command in the Kharkov region is luring elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into “fire bags”, where they can be crushed by missiles and aircraft, while in fortified areas their place will be taken by inexperienced territorial defense troops, which in the future will facilitate the advance of Russian troops in Ukraine.
Military expert, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the Roy-TV Youtube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky forced Zaluzhny to attack. Our side... it is quite obvious that knocking out highly trained fighters from fortified areas is a serious problem, and if they are knocked out and unprepared territorial defense fighters take their place, then solving the problem of advancing our troops in Ukraine will be much easier.
Based on this, naturally, our leadership could only support the idea of a “counter-offensive”, hoping to destroy the maximum of this public that was supposed to attack. Within the framework of operational art, the classic form of inflicting maximum damage on the advancing enemy is the organization of fire bags,” said Sivokv.
“And such fire bags are organized by creating the illusion of the enemy that he is breaking through the defenses, so that he goes deeper to a certain depth, after which massive air and missile strikes are organized with the aim of destroying him. A classic scheme of this kind was organized in the South,” says the expert.
