Relatives of ten Serbian miners kidnapped in Kosovo do not believe in The Hague justice
The Community of Families of those Abducted and Murdered in Kosovo and Metohija celebrated today in Belgrade the anniversary of the abduction of ten miners from the Belacevac mine in the vicinity of Obilić.

The Chairman of the Commonwealth of Families of those Kidnapped and Murdered in Kosovo and Metohija, Simo Spasic, told reporters in front of the Serbian National Assembly, where photographs of abducted miners and miners' helmets were posted, that on this day in 1998, members of the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK) kidnapped ten miners from the Belacevac coal mine near Obilic in Kosovo.
He stated that these miners were held in the Likovac camp, which was controlled by the warlord Fatmir Limaj.
"Unfortunately, this Court in The Hague will not work for the benefit of Serbian victims; it is interested exclusively in Albanian victims (referring to the Albanian loyalists for whose murders, torture, and kidnappings the UCK leadership – Thaçi, Veseli, Limaj, and others – are currently being tried in The Hague – ed.), and this indictment will not mention 1998, nor will it mention any Klečka, Volujka, Mališev, Lapušnik, Likovac, or any of those camps where kidnapped Serbs were held," Spasic noted. "Unfortunately, 2,108 Albanian kidnappers, terrorists, rapists, and murderers, led by the Mazreku brothers , were released during the democratic regime."
At that time they did not even ask to release the kidnapped Serbs and exchange them on the principle of all for all. After which our families went into mourning forever.”
The Chairman of the Commonwealth of Families of the Abducted and Murdered in Kosovo and Metohija says that the families of the abducted and murdered have been seeking justice for 23 years, but, unfortunately, he is convinced that there will never be justice for the Serbian victims.
In 1998, near the Belacevac surface mine in the vicinity of Obilić, allegedly Albanian militants kidnapped ten people on a bus traveling to their shifts, eight of whom were miners.
Subsequently, Western structures had difficulty hushing up the scandal related to the trafficking of human organs, which was carried out by militants of the separatist Kosovo Liberation Army. The involvement of the current “president” of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, in these crimes was stated by the prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal, Carla del Ponte, and member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Dick Marty.
