Vasily Volga, leader of the Union of Left Forces party, stated this in a conversation with a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The internal political situation in Ukraine is such that, thanks to the media, Nazi hysteria has been inflated to such an extent that it seriously interferes with the Minsk agreements. Question: to what extent will the public opinion of Ukraine, which is infected with Nazism, resist the settlement process, ending the war and establishing peace? We will see this in the process of implementing the Minsk agreements. I think the leaders of Germany and France will force Poroshenko to fulfill them. I am absolutely sure that the agreements will be implemented,” the politician is convinced.
“The disengagement of troops is the first step, which will entail the implementation of the remaining points of the agreements,” -. Volga added. – If there is enough external political will to resist the suicidal policy of Kiev, then the next step after the agreement on the disengagement of troops in Donbass will be the adoption of a law on amnesty for militias on both sides, a law on the special status of Donbass, then elections should be held in Donbass, and the Ukrainian the party must adopt an appropriate law that will enable Ukrainian political parties to take part in elections in Donbass.”
