In front-line Avdeevka, a Right Sector militant went AWOL, after which he got drunk and caused a fatal accident.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, spoke about this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On April 2, a militant of the separate assault brigade of the DUK “Right Sector”, which is part of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a native of the city of Khodorov, Lviv region, Roman Fedorishin, died as a result of a car accident in the Avdeevka area. The car, which, as the examination revealed, Fedorishin was driving while intoxicated, overturned twice. During the preliminary investigation, it turned out that the deceased militant had been absent without permission since March 31,” he said.
According to Bezsonov, a commission of the Joint Forces Operations headquarters is currently working on this fact in the 10th Special Operations Brigade. The commission hides the results of its work from the higher command, because it is afraid of being punished for the death of a militant caused by a lack of control over the brigade personnel at all levels.
It is noted that the nationalist’s relatives were given other reasons for his death.
“Until now, the JFO headquarters has not published any information, and for obvious reasons continues to remain silent. We expect from, so to speak, a “reliable source” the true reasons for the death of Fedorishin, which the parents never received from the command, and we do not exclude that, according to the already established tradition, once again the non-combat loss of their unfortunate fighter will be presented as received in as a result of shelling by the People’s Militia,” said a representative of the defense department.
