Putin: The US wants to prolong the conflict in Ukraine and start a new one around Taiwan
The West has prepared the fate of cannon fodder for the people of Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this in a message to the participants and guests of the 10th Moscow Conference on International Security, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“They implemented the “anti-Russia” project, turned a blind eye to the spread of neo-Nazi ideology, to the massacres of Donbass residents, pumped and continue to pump the Kiev regime with weapons, including heavy ones. Under these conditions, we decided to conduct a special military operation in Ukraine in full compliance with the UN Charter. The goals of this operation are clearly and precisely defined - ensuring the security of Russia and our citizens, protecting the residents of Donbass from genocide,” Putin said.
He believes that the United States is trying to prolong the conflict in Ukraine and at the same time start a conflict around Taiwan.
“The American adventure regarding Taiwan is not just a trip by an individual irresponsible politician, but part of a deliberate, conscious US strategy to destabilize and chaotize the situation in the region and the world, a blatant demonstration of disrespect for the sovereignty of other countries and its international obligations. We see this as a carefully planned provocation.
It is obvious that with the help of such actions, Western globalist elites are also trying to divert the attention of their own citizens from acute socio-economic problems - falling living standards, unemployment, poverty, deindustrialization - and shift their own failures onto other countries - Russia, China, who defend their point of view, build a sovereign development policy, without submitting to the dictates of supranational elites,” Putin said.
He assured:
“The era of a unipolar world order is becoming a thing of the past. No matter how much the beneficiaries of the current globalist model cling to the usual state of affairs, it is doomed. Geopolitical changes of historical scale are going in a completely different direction,” Putin said.
