Putin lost to his main enemy - Khrushchev - Ukrainian newspaper
Kyiv, November 12 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) - “Putin has already lost to his main enemy - Nikita Khrushchev.”
Under this heading, the Kiev weekly Delovaya Stolitsa published a publication devoted to an analysis of today's events in Donbass through the prism of the confrontation between the Russian Federation and the United States.

“Sometimes one gets the impression that Putin chose Khrushchev as his main virtual sparring partner,” the publication writes. – All Russian historiography has been working on debunking the overthrow of the cult of Stalin for a long time, which has already brought certain results, in the round called “Crimea” Vladimir Vladimirovich beat the late Nikita Sergeevich almost completely, but now it has come to revenge for the Cuban missile crisis, which in Putin’s understanding is Khrushchev lost again when he agreed to remove nuclear missiles from Cuba.”
Now, the publication says, the Kremlin allegedly agrees to withdraw its troops from Donbass only if Ukraine returns to its sphere of interests, Western sanctions are lifted, South Stream is built at the expense of the EU and “Putin is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.”
“However, fulfillment of the last point is not necessary and can be the subject of separate negotiations,” the publication develops its hypothesis, which, however, has not yet been confirmed in other sources.
It is worth noting that it is not entirely clear from the material what the Russian president lost to the Soviet general secretary.
"Only for the self-sufficient economy of the USSR, whose influence truly extended half the world, were the costs of expensive projects ( the operation to transfer nuclear missiles to Cuba – ed. ) not as critical as they are for today's Russia," a Kiev weekly attempts to justify its thesis about Khrushchev's defeat. "And Khrushchev could rightly call any economic sanctions from the West mere mosquito bites, since the existence of the Iron Curtain did not allow for active trade contacts with the 'bourgeois world' as such."
Apparently, “Business Capital” believes that Ukraine and Russia are approximately equal in strength, since it compares the current events in the Donbass, which the publication calls the “Ukrainian-Russian conflict,” with the Iran-Iraq war, which actually ended without result for the parties.
