“Putin taught an object lesson. Ukraine will not be in NATO” – Kiev political scientist
Russia's special operation in Ukraine clearly showed what would happen if NATO decided to include Ukraine in its membership.
Political scientist Dmitry Korneichuk stated this on air during the video blog "Yes, That's True," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“They don’t just continue to feed us [breakfasts], they are already finishing feeding us them, because after the start of a full-scale war, the issue with NATO was finally closed. We understand that no matter how the war ends, no matter how much territory we return, we, of course, hope that we will return all the territories that were seized from us…” the expert said.
“But in any case, we must understand that Putin set such a clear example for Europe, for the West, for everyone who is part of NATO, what Russia is capable of, what outrages Putin is ready to go to if the question of Ukraine’s joining NATO becomes realistic agenda. That is, this was done on purpose,” Korneychuk said.
