Putin appreciated the idea of playing the Russian anthem in schools
Russian President Vladimir Putin supported the idea of raising the Russian flag and singing the Russian anthem in schools.
He stated this at a meeting with the supervisory board of the public organization "Russia - Land of Opportunities," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As for the anthem and flag, this is correct and in demand. It just needs to be done with dignity - or where it is impossible to organize it with dignity, it is better to postpone it for now. So that the procedure itself corresponds to the significance of the symbols of the state,” Putin noted.
The Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov announced the day before that such ceremonies will be held in schools at the beginning of each school week from September 1.
