EU and UN sanctions were demanded against the leader of the Bosnian Serbs
The High Representative of the international community for BiH, Valentin Inzko, has complained about the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, after which the Serb may be banned from entering the EU.
Inzko said that in the Republika Srpska the Student House of the city of Palama bears the name of the prisoner of The Hague, declared a war criminal, Radovan Karadzic.

“As the German Foreign Minister said, there is no place in civilized Europe for those who glorify war criminals,” said Valentin Inzko, speaking at the UN Security Council. “There is no place for those who do not share European values.”
Prior to this, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas recalled the 25th anniversary of the 1995 Dayton Agreement, which formally ended the Bosnian war on Western terms. And he said that there is no place in the EU for countries that deny war crimes.
“This also applies to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In a country that wants to join the EU, there is no room for nationalist propaganda, denial of war crimes or glorification of war criminals,” Maas said.
During the session, Inzko received direct support from the German representative Christoph Heusgen.
“Glorifying war criminals is terrible. Naming a hostel after a convicted war criminal is unacceptable, as is organizing a campaign to exonerate a war criminal. I support the proposal of the High Representative, as well as the adoption by BiH of a law prohibiting denial of the Bosnia genocide,” Heusgen said.
Inzko, in turn, expressed regret that some politicians in BiH ignore “fundamental European values.” And he said that Milorad Dodik may face a travel ban from all EU countries, as well as from all UN countries by the May session of the UN Security Council.

Intsko and Dodik
The position of the High Representative was supported by the USA, Great Britain and a number of other countries, except Russia, which came to the defense of the Bosnian Serbs.
Radovan Karadzic is a psychiatrist, poet, politician and the first president of Republika Srpska, who defended the Bosnian Serbs from the aggression of the Islamist regime in Sarajevo. According to schemes invented by American political strategists, he was accused of the non-existent “genocide in Srebrenica” and sentenced to life imprisonment by the Hague Court.
