Continuation of the war could be a one-way ticket for Ukraine – Karasev
Russia and the United States stand at a fork in the road that will decide whether the escalation in Ukraine will continue or the conflict will be curtailed.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

At the same time, further escalation, according to Karasev, could turn into a “one-way ticket” for Ukraine.
“If you take the key players in this war, Biden and Putin, they stand at a fork in the road, at a bifurcation point. You can further go up the escalation step, risking losing control of the escalation in this war, it may become uncontrollable. So far, they have succeeded in escalating, but it was controlled, it was within certain limits and doses, both on the part of Biden and on the part of Russia...
We didn't like it, but at least it didn't lead to catastrophic consequences. Because now the situation is very difficult, but not a disaster. A catastrophe may be ahead, this may be a one-way ticket, for Ukraine, first of all, because this war is on the territory of Ukraine,” Karasev concluded.
