The European Union and Russia have agreed to hold the next trilateral gas talks this month. The exact date will be announced after consultations with the Ukrainian side, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Vice-President of the European Commission Marish Šefčović announced this on the social network Twitter.

“I had a good talk with Russian Energy Minister Novak. We have agreed to hold the next trilateral gas negotiations this month. The exact date will be announced soon, after consultation with the Ukrainian side,” Šefčović wrote.

Let us recall that earlier the Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine Alexey Orzhel said that the Ukrainian delegation is ready to take part in trilateral gas negotiations with the participation of representatives of Russia and the European Commission in September.
