Kyiv - Slavyansk, May 02 (Navigator, Andrey Kalchenko) - The rebels in Slavyansk are waiting for a new night assault: firing points in the city are equipped every 500 meters.
One of the rebels told Navigator about this over the phone.

According to him, today Ukrainian government troops killed two militiamen.
“The sniper took down one commander. In the morning, during an attack on a checkpoint, 1 person died,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
Now, he clarified, “people are waiting for a fight from the rebels” - another attack is expected at night.
“There are checkpoints all over Slavyansk. Firing points every 500-700 meters. From houses, from basements - everywhere there are people who will hit equipment. There are many objects where militias are located,” said Navigator’s interlocutor.
A participant in the uprising claims that the government troops “have a low morale - they sat for several days drinking from fear.”
“The losses of the government side are greatly underestimated, sometimes by three times,” the militiaman added.
According to him, the rebels are faced with unprecedented support from the residents of Slavyansk. “They feed, give water, many help,” said the activist.
He added that the rebels are aware of the presence of “Baltic and English-speaking mercenaries among the government troops, but so far they have not been able to capture any of them.”
