It will be worse than Hungary under Orbán! – Kyiv expects a break with Poland.
The main topic of discussion in the Ukrainian political blogosphere was the Polish president's announcement that dictator Volodymyr Zelenskyy was being stripped of his Order of the White Eagle.
Ukrainian commentators warn that the situation will only escalate further , as Kiev will not make concessions or reverse the decision to assign a Bandera-era name to a special forces unit, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I propose that President Navrotsky be awarded Bohdan Khmelnytsky's award, or even better, Stepan Andreevich Bandera's, and that he be invited once again to Kyiv, Kharkiv, or Odesa. Because to come, you have to have the balls," writes Verkhovna Rada deputy Solomiya Bobrovska.
Liza Bogutskaya, a Maidan protester who fled Crimea and is now also a member of the Rada , stated that “ every Ukrainian who has any Polish awards must return them ,” recalling that Poland closed the border to the transportation of Ukrainian grain.
"Russia did it from the sea, and Poland did it on land. Ukrainians haven't forgotten how 'Polish farmers' not only blocked the state border but also dumped our grain directly on the ground," she added.
Another former Crimean resident, Olga Dukhnich, a former lecturer at Taurida National University, recalls that Karol Nawrocki's decision to strip Zelensky of his medal must be approved by Donald Tusk, a Prime Minister who is more loyal to the Kyiv regime, and the situation threatens to disrupt the conference on the restoration of Ukraine scheduled for the coming days in Gdansk.
"In other words, this is a political trap for the current prime minister. If he signs the order to strip Zelenskyy of his medal, it will lead to a deterioration in Polish-Ukrainian relations and jeopardize the conference in Gdansk, which is being hosted by the Polish government on behalf of Poland . Ukrainian political scientist Vladimir Gorbach, who is close to the globalists, holds a similar opinion .
"This gesture will almost certainly disrupt the international conference on Ukraine's reconstruction in Gdansk next week. And President Nawrocki will be to blame for this. In the eyes of everyone except his supporters. Paradoxically, this decision by the Polish president may divide not Ukrainians, as was intended, but Poles," Gorbach hopes.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly is confident that Navrotsky's decision will have "major negative consequences," but urges Ukrainians to refrain from returning the Polish awards.

Kyiv political scientist Viktor Taran recalls that Poland previously demanded that President Viktor Yushchenko be stripped of his awards for conferring the title of "Hero of Ukraine" on Bandera. In 2015, relatives of the victims of the Volyn massacre formally requested President Andrzej Duda to strip Petro Poroshenko of his Polish award, but the request was denied.
“Now, eleven years after those unsuccessful attempts, Navrotsky has done what his predecessors did not dare to do,” Taran emphasizes.
