Dnepropetrovsk, October 21 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, during a working trip to the Dnepropetrovsk region, visited the State Enterprise Yuzhnoye Design Bureau named after M. Yangel.

The head of state held a meeting at which the state, problems and prospects for the development of the space industry were discussed.
The company's CEO, Alexander Degtyarev, presented projects in the aerospace, defense industry, and transportation sectors, including participation in the international Sea Launch and Land Launch projects; the joint Ukrainian-Brazilian Cyclone-4 project; the development of the Antares medium-class launch vehicle; and the production of the Sich Earth remote sensing satellites, the presidential press service reported.
Poroshenko also raised the question of the prospects for cooperation in the space sector with other interested states, in particular with the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As PolitNavigator reported, information previously appeared that due to the curtailment of cooperation with Russia, Ukraine will actually lose production related to space.
