Poroshenko boasted of new Kharkov armored personnel carriers for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Ukrainian Armed Forces received seven BTR-4 armored personnel carriers with new domestically produced armor, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
President Petro Poroshenko wrote about this on his Twitter page .
According to him, the armored personnel carriers were manufactured at the plant named after. Morozov in Kharkov. Poroshenko noted that over a period of four years, more than a hundred changes were made to the vehicles, taking into account the results of their use during hostilities. “We continue to strengthen the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces!” - said the Ukrainian president.
The BTR-4 "Bucephalus" can transport personnel of motorized rifle units, as well as provide them with fire support. The armored personnel carrier can be used as a base vehicle to equip special rapid reaction forces and marines and is capable of conducting combat operations in conditions where weapons of mass destruction are used.
