If you believe Poroshenko, then the Georgians saved the ancestors of his wife Marina from starvation in 1933, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to Poroshenko’s press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko.
“Few people know that back in 33, my wife’s great-grandfather, saving his family from the Holodomor, was forced to flee to Tbilisi. And Georgia saved my wife’s family from starvation,” Poroshenko assures.
