It’s time for Russia and Syria to end the humanitarian pause in Aleppo and resume aviation operations there. Deputy Director of the CIS Institute, military expert Vladimir Evseev stated this at a press conference in Moscow.

“It’s time to start working on those goals that are clearly known. If we continue to wait and delay humanitarian pauses, there will be no people left in Aleppo. Without aviation, the level of losses is too high. We need to liberate Aleppo as quickly as possible and pay less attention to what the West thinks about it,” Evseev said.
He positively assessed the tactics of Russia and Syria in Damascus, from the suburbs of which militants are being allowed to leave.
“600 people come out. At the same time, there is an accumulation of militants in the province of Idlib. I think that after the liberation of Aleppo, we need to surround al-Nusra in Idlibl. There they will have to hide behind not strangers, but their own families. From there they will be squeezed out to Turkey. And from there they should be expected in Europe. Our “friends” who teach us to fight in Aleppo should think about this problem and not put a spoke in our wheels,” Evseev said.
In his opinion, it is necessary to achieve a turning point by spring. Then the US role in the region will weaken significantly, and this will have a positive impact on the situation.
