Half of Budanov poisoned – Ukrainian media
The wife of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Marianna Budanova, was hospitalized after being poisoned.
The Internet publication Babel reports this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, citing its sources in military intelligence.
It is noted that after a prolonged deterioration in her health, she was hospitalized.
“The course of treatment is now being completed, then the doctors will monitor it,” said a source in the Main Intelligence Directorate.
According to him, doctors diagnosed damage from heavy metals.
“These substances are not used in any way in everyday life or military affairs. Their presence may indicate a deliberate attempt to poison a specific person,” the publication’s interlocutor said.
It is noteworthy that Budanov’s wife has been living in the GUR office since February last year, as Budanov previously spoke about in a media interview.
“Sources have confirmed that there was also an attempt on Kirill Budanov’s life before and after the full-scale invasion. Currently, an investigation is underway into a possible attempt to murder the wife of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,” sums up Babel.
