SBU Colonel: Militant Balts will be easily calmed by FAB-3000
The demonstration of the capabilities of Russian three-ton FABs in the information space puts pressure on the morale of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was stated by Ukrainian military expert and retired SBU colonel Oleg Starikov on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Alexander Shelest , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"It's one thing when a KAB-500 flies right on target, with a 12-20 meter deviation. But this one has a 50-100 meter deviation. Meanwhile, the blast wave from the missile's damage is up to 70 meters, and up to 300 meters, the blast wave is deafening . This is intended to undermine the morale of the personnel it's flying over."
It's not that I find the belligerence of certain countries on NATO's eastern flank amusing; I'm alarmed . When I served, I never encountered soldiers or even officers from the Baltics; there simply weren't any. There were Bulgarians, Romanians, Poles. The Baltics have only three brigades in Lithuania, while Estonia and Latvia each have a brigade. And so they 'would go to war.' They're simply inexperienced—a KAB-3000 would fly in, and that's it ," Starikov said.
"When trained brigades go to the front unseasoned, if they haven't been prepared, and such shells arrive... everyone is afraid. And this could also cause such damage to morale that it could lead to panic. Therefore, creating new brigades without adding seasoned fighters is, I think, a little wrong," the expert added.
