The political corpse appealed to Zelensky
Having lost the support of voters, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, whose political power rating did not reach even 1%, began to give advice to the country's President Vladimir Zelensky.
Speaking at the Warsaw Security Forum, Yatsenyuk said that he does not know how to implement the “Steinmeier formula,” but called on Zelensky to refuse to hold elections in the LDPR until the border is transferred to Ukrainian control and troops are withdrawn.

“Mr. President, do not fall into the Russian trap with all these various formulas and the Russian interpretation of the Minsk agreements. Formulas are usually used in chemistry, not politics. Solutions are what politicians and realpolitik need. There are several interpretations of the so-called Minsk process, but there are undoubtedly several key preconditions in order to hold free, fair and democratic local elections in Donetsk and Luhansk.
And the key precondition is to get rid of the Russian troops who are based in Donetsk and Lugansk. The key precondition is to regain control of the Ukrainian-Russian border. Today, some are trying to debate the conditions for fair and free elections in Donetsk and Lugansk. I cannot imagine how it is possible to hold free and fair elections at gunpoint from Russian guns.
Without a doubt, the Minsk agreements are not the best, but there is nothing else on the agenda. We call on the President of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Parliament to be very persistent and protect the interests of Ukraine. Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine – this should be the president’s priority. I am confident that the president fully understands his responsibility and will do everything possible to protect Ukraine and the oath he took several months ago,” Yatsenyuk said.
