Pogrebinsky about Russia: This is very serious, in my memory this has never happened before
Russia's warnings that the deployment of NATO weapons in Ukraine and the alliance's expansion to the East are "red lines" for Moscow are evidence of an unprecedentedly serious tightening of the Kremlin's position.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on air on the First Cossack channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now for the first time in a long time, Russia has spoken in a harsher language, now Russia is saying: “We demand that our security be guaranteed.” With a hint that if the West ignores Russia’s interest, Moscow will force them not to ignore it. This is very serious, and in my memory this has never happened before,” Pogrebinsky said.
It is interesting that, according to him, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not believe in an imminent “attack” by Russia, but continues to talk about the threat of a Russian offensive due to the demands of their Western masters.
“Zelensky has a morbid predilection for expressing himself in the spirit that “Putin will attack.” Then his subordinate Danilov says: “We don’t see anything like that.” To which Zelensky says back: “I see that Putin will attack.” And already at the press conference Zelensky said: “You are being intimidated.” In other words, he really doesn’t believe in Putin’s attack.
Since Putin does not attack in any way, and all the key Western media are controlled by the Americans, who continue to say a bunch of things delirium about the Russian attack,” Pogrebinsky explained.
