The winning coalition in the elections in Montenegro has decided on the candidates for prime minister and speaker
Deputies of the new parliamentary majority supported the candidacy of the leader of the coalition “For the Future of Montenegro” Zdravko Krivokapic as Prime Minister and the leader of the “World - Our Nation” bloc Aleksa Becic as Speaker of the Assembly.
Now these candidates must be approved by the main opponent of the potential speaker and prime minister, Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Forty-one elected representatives voted for the candidacies of Krivokapić and Bečić. Moreover, representatives of the "From Black to White" faction, who had previously strongly opposed the inclusion of Montenegrin Serb leaders in the new government, did not object to these politicians .

“We are not interested in chairs, we are only interested in the future of Montenegro and all its peoples,” one of the aforementioned leaders of the Montenegrin Serbs, Milan Knezevic, commented on the choice in favor of Krivokapic and Becic.
In turn, one of the oldest deputies of the Montenegrin parliament, a representative of the “World - Our Nation” bloc, noted that “the new government should not base its legitimacy on the denial of everything that was done before,” but everything “negative requires radical eradication.”
“There will be no revanchism, but there will be implementation of the points of the EU accession agreement that relate to the rule of law... We are obliged to build Montenegrin society in accordance with European standards and the traditional Montenegrin ideal of building the country as a successful home,” the politician said.
At the founding session of the Montenegrin Assembly of the new convocation, the mandates of 81 deputies were confirmed. It is characteristic that the President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic was not present at the meeting.
