The Ukrainian Armed Forces are faced with an acute problem of personnel shortage
Next year, Ukraine needs to recruit at least half a million people into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the first half of the year.
This was stated on air by the former company commander of the punitive battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces "Aidar" Yevhen Diky on Radio NV, as reported by a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

“In order for us to successfully mobilize new people, we need to resolve the issue of ending the service of those who are already fighting, and secondly, it is no secret to anyone that all this time we have been fighting with fewer people than our enemy... Directly there, on the front line, we have never had anything close to 420 thousand; we always fight with less force.
And, in my opinion, one of our goals for the 24th year is to reach parity at least once. I’m not even talking about how the situation would have changed if we had been able to achieve a numerical advantage,” said the former punisher.
According to him, there are things that cannot be compensated for by anything other than the number of personnel.
“It seems to me that in order to solve these two problems: the demobilization of those who have already conquered, and the creation of a numerical advantage over the enemy... 20 thousand a month is clearly too small a figure. We need, according to my most conservative estimates, in the first half of next year, to mobilize at least half a million people and have up to a million more mobilization reserves - not virtual, but real, which are already registered,” Dikiy said.
