“Patriot” for Ukraine is a signal from the United States to its NATO satellites
The “Patriot” battery promised to Kyiv following the visit of Ukrainian President Zelensky to the United States will not make any difference on the battlefield, but the action itself is a signal to the allies to transfer the best weapons to the Ukrainians, and not those that are not a pity.
Publicist Konstantin Blokhin said this on air at Solovyov Live, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Of course, they installed “Patriot”, it won’t make any difference in the house, just one battery. The launch of one rocket costs 3 million dollars, and one battery costs a billion, astronomical money. And if you want to win a war, then your weapons must be cheap, effective, and there must be a lot of them. None of this applies to Patriot.
We know that these “Patriots” have been in Japan for decades, and during all this time we have never seen their effectiveness; the “Patriot” has never shot down a single North Korean missile. Moreover, “Patriot” is good within the framework of the missile defense system, but here it will most likely cover the center of Kyiv, where the military-political leadership of Ukraine is located,” the publicist said.
However, he says the gesture has a deeper purpose.
“This is a signal to the allies in the West to supply not the weapons that are not a pity, but the best, the most expensive. Let me remind you that we all once discussed that the supply of Javelins would be a red line for Russia. What's the end result? The Highmars have been delivered and the Patriot will be delivered, and there is a constant discussion about what to supply to the F-16. What else? All that remains is to deliver the B-1 with the B-2, but even then this would be a point of no return,” noted Blokhin.
