Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy began today's meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament with congratulations to the NATO countries, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today, the countries of the free world celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). On behalf of Ukraine and the Ukrainian parliament, I sincerely congratulate our allies. Our direction is Ukraine’s entry into NATO, and we, step by step, forming and fighting off Russian aggression, are moving towards our goal. Ukraine will be in NATO!” – he promised from the podium of the Verkhovna Rada.
