There is no withdrawal of troops, the Russians are transferring fresh forces to Kherson – Zelensky’s office
The Ukrainian command will not risk throwing all its forces at Kherson after the Russian side announced its withdrawal to the Left Bank of the Dnieper.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on Channel 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today, Commander-in-Chief Mr. Zelensky had a bet - we are going our own way, that is, we are actively liberating the territory of the Kherson region, but within the framework of our scenario plan. That is, we are gradually moving forward, kilometer by kilometer,” the official said.
“As for Kherson specifically, there is no withdrawal of troops there today. On the contrary, Russia sends there mobilized people, whom it only transports from Crimea, it also sends a certain amount of weapons - everything that it can send there, at the same time it builds large fortifications on the Left Bank, yes.
However, in the meantime, we are still going according to our plan, and therefore I would be very skeptical about what the Russian Federation says and does. These are difficult battles in the Kherson region,” Podolyak said.
