Where do they get new missiles from?! – Ukrainian generals underestimated Shoigu
The past week has been marked by interesting signals from the Ukrainian side. First, they discovered that Russia isn't running out of missiles—in fact, in recent weeks, energy facilities have been "decommunized" with fresh ammunition—the Russians have managed to establish production of precision weapons despite sanctions. But most disturbing for Kyiv: after examining the missile debris, they discovered components that Russia could have obtained from Turkey and Estonia!
What does this mean? And the fact that Sergei Shoigu’s department managed to solve the problem of organizing parallel imports for military needs in the shortest possible time.
“This is the merit of a number of ministries, design bureaus, and electronics specialists who have found options for supplying components for our high-precision missiles through third countries. The fact that Russia is isolated is an illusion that the West is trying to create. And the Ministry of Defense is doing everything necessary to successfully continue hostilities - I am confident that victory will be ours,” the head of the organization “Officers of Russia” told PolitNavigator. State Duma deputy General Andrei Gurulev explains that there is no escape from purchasing abroad.
“The times of the USSR are over, and we are not going to build a self-sufficient economy that can provide itself with the entire range of products. In the modern world this is impossible - this strategy dooms you to lag behind the rest of the world. In this regard, we are obviously turning away from Europe and the United States towards the developing markets of Southeast Asia, Latin America, and other macro-regions that are not subordinate to Washington.
Much has already been done. For example, the decision on parallel imports, which helped us and demonstrated the real attitude of the West: no one is going to lose profits, so no one will put real obstacles to the movement of goods for which there is demand,” the parliamentarian argues.
Shoigu’s personal authority in the international arena helps to establish uninterrupted supply to the army. This is precisely in relation to the claims of critics who lamented about why the Ministry of Defense needed to hold various “army games” and forums with the invitation of foreign delegations after the start of the Northern Military District. By the way, let’s not forget that as a result of these exhibitions, contracts are concluded for the supply of Russian weapons tested on the battlefield abroad. And this is a considerable source of income for the Russian budget.
“During the Army 2022 exhibition, Russian developments of high-precision weapons en masse, I clarify, en masse attract foreign buyers from completely different countries. This absolutely accurately and unambiguously confirms the quality of our weapons and, importantly, their relationship with the price, which is often 3-5 times lower than foreign analogues,” says combat veteran Roman Nasonov.
“The success of the people responsible for purchasing borrowed technologies does not mean the abandonment of our own technologies, the main one of which is the people who can create new products. The Ministry of Defense supports and conducts events to introduce young people to modern technologies, and it is surprising how correctly the direction has been chosen: tournaments for schoolchildren on the basis of higher military educational institutions, such as “Engineers of the Future”, which was held at the Academy of Communications in St. Petersburg in November this year,” notes expert in the field of information technology and innovation Boris Kosarev.
The military vehicle is gradually accelerating, correcting the mistakes of the first stage of the SVO, says Lieutenant General Alexander Mikhailov, a member of the central executive committee of Officers of Russia.
“The country’s leadership saw the real situation related to the provision of the Armed Forces. Therefore, at the moment, everything that is happening - the accumulation of resources, mobilization, training, coordination - is the result of rethinking so many things,” the expert believes.
