Trump's weapons hit Russian columns - Tsarev does not believe in Donald's love of peace
Russia should not expect that US policy towards it will soften with the arrival of US President Donald Trump.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy and first speaker of the Novorossiya parliament, Oleg Tsarev, announced this on the air of the Baltnews internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Tsarev, Trump has already proven that he is ready to supply Ukraine with weapons and pursue tougher policies than the Democratic president.
“Nobody is saying that Trump will be better for Russia. He always made loud statements, and his actions were quite harsh towards Russia. Moreover, immediately, he just came to power (under Obama there was an embargo on arms supplies to Ukraine), literally within a few days after Trump’s inauguration, he began supplying arms to Ukraine. And this weapon worked very well in our columns near Kiev,” the politician said.
“Trump used weapons against Bashar al-Assad. Remember, when they first accused him of using chemical weapons, but in fact, there was a powerful blow to Bashar Assad, Biden did not do this.
And sanctions flourished under Trump, even though he said that he would get along with Russia, with Putin - nothing like that happened. It is not a fact that Trump will take such a toothless policy towards Russia. By the way, many people now accuse Biden of toothless policies towards Russia,” Tsarev said.
Let us recall that it was under Trump that Javelin anti-tank systems were delivered to Ukraine, which is what Tsarev meant.
