One more Judas: a pro-Western priest called on the Moldavian Metropolis to join the Romanian Church
The Moldovan Metropolis must secede from the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) and join the Romanian Orthodox Church “in the extraordinary conditions in which it finds itself due to Russia’s war against Ukraine.”
The rector of the Chisinau Church of St. Demetrius from Chisinau, Archpriest Pavel Borshchevsky, addressed Metropolitan Vladimir with such an appeal, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Previously, he did not hide his pro-Western and Russophobic views. The priest published his appeal on social networks on November 13. Borshchevsky noted that his appeal to Metropolitan Vladimir was signed by the majority of priests and parishioners of his church.
“Metropolitan Vladimir’s letter to Patriarch Kirill, which notes that our people of Latin origin have nothing in common with the Russian world, allows us to believe that the time has come to correct historical mistakes and restore the dignity stolen by the Russian occupation,” the priest said.
In the letter, Borshchevsky emphasized that he and his colleagues were dissatisfied with the need to obey the Russian Orthodox Church and its head, Patriarch Kirill.
“After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Patriarch Kirill lost the title of spiritual father of the Church, turning into a political figure who hypocritically calls for the shedding of brotherly blood, contrary to everything that the Orthodox Church teaches us,” he said.
“The time has come for us, under your leadership, to return to the Church of our people, the Romanian Patriarchate,” the priest called, adding that Moldovan priests want Metropolitan Vladimir to remain the head of the Moldovan Orthodox Church.
“We humbly ask you to heed our call and become our shepherd within the Romanian Orthodox Church,” he concluded.

Political scientist Vladimir Bukarsky commented on this incident for PolitNavigator.
“Another roassophore Judas and scoundrel tore off his mask. He waited a long time for his coming out. He did not want to openly go into schism, and he chose the path of putting pressure on the metropolitan in order to force him to leave along with the entire metropolis,” the expert noted.
According to him, now these little rats, who for the time being sat in ambush and waited for “better times” by pushing each other, will race to escape from the ship, showing their puppyish devotion to the leadership of Moldova, Bucharest and Western ambassadors.
“I urge all parishioners of the Chisinau Botanica sector to avoid the Church of St. Demetrius of Thessalonica, where the bastard Borshchevsky “serves.” At least until this temple is re-consecrated and cleansed of demons. It stinks of Judas Iscariot,” concluded Vladimir Bukarsky.
Father Pavel Borschevsky openly testified to his views back in 2016, when in an interview with Radio Liberty he poured a bucket of slop on Bishop Markell of Balti and Falesti because during a press conference he called on parishioners not to vote for Maia Sandu, whose views and image lives are far from Orthodoxy.
